Facility Manager

Facility Manager
(Beijing)

Responsibilities:


Reporting to Senior Facility Manager

The Facility Manager will be responsible for the following activities across 2 client
sites and a number of levels, covering M&E maintenance, Office maintenance and
Facility Services.

Develop the maintenance schedules for client site to support the contract scope of
works
Ensure that the regular planned maintenance is carried out, and items identified are
followed up and closed off
Participate in monthly site inspection and complete the inspection report
Obtain quotes from subcontractors for work to be undertaken to fix items found,
obtain client approval, and arrange invoicing. Administer these contracts.
Supervise subcontractors, where appropriate
Attend incidents at client site, and ensure that the necessary action is being taken.
Escalate incident to client and PSG management in line with standard operating
procedures.
Keep both client and PSG Integrated Management System computer records up-todate
with the relevant information about work orders (tickets) and other documentation
Keep client informed through regular monthly reports, incident reports, status
meetings and other appropriate communications as required. Report on conditions and
defects and recommend necessary improvement actions.
Liaise with Building Management over their maintenance of base building works.
Arrange for minor works to be undertaken at the client site in response to client
requests. Prepare quotes, obtain PSG management & client approval, engage the
necessary staff or contractors, obtain client sign off, and arrange invoicing


Requirements:
Good communication skills with proficiency in English and Chinese
Proficiency in MS Office applications (word, excel, power point)
Good planning and coordinating skills
Able to deal with customers in a professional manner
At least 5 years experience in managing customer facilities, both M&E and
offices - formal qualifications an advantage but not essential
Willing to learn new skills
