VACANCY AS Training Officer

Training Officer
(National Capital Reg)

Responsibilities:

The general scope of responsibilities shall include, but shall not be limited to, the following:

1. Administration and Coordination
Provide administrative assistance in the organization and delivery of training programs
Coordinate, implement and evaluate training programs
Translate materials from English to Mandarin and vice versa
Ensure training calendar is up to date and that training is carried out according to plans

2. Training programs and material designing
Assist in the design, development and delivery of training programs
Assist in the design and development of training manuals

3. Course evaluation
Distribute and collect evaluation forms, compile results and furnish report to the Training and Development Manager on time

4. Report preparation
Prepare monthly activity reports including statistical data such as breakdown of participants and assessment by participants of quality and value of programs
Monitor training budget to ensure that cost of training is within budget

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITES:

1. To develop, plan, coordinate and deliver training programs in accordance company's objectives and identified needs.

2. Continually monitor the provision of training, evaluate quality and develop training in response to evaluation.

3. To ensure the training is high standard and reflecting the needs of the employees.

Limitations:
Disclosure of confidential information must have the approval of the Training and Development Manager

Liaison and Coordination:
Liaise with participants to ensure attendance at training.
Coordinate with trainer/training provider to ensure that training is carried out smoothly.

Requirements:

1. Knowledge of training and development process: analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation

2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills

3. Good interpersonal skills

4. Proficient in Microsoft applications particularly Excel and PowerPoint

5. Proficient in English and Mandarin or Hokkien languages
