Senior System Specialist (Infrastructure)
(Singapore)

Responsibilities:

Perform system administration :
– Perform system health-check on a daily basis e.g. review logs for problems.
– Security patching
– Problem resolution
– Capacity planning
– System performance tuning
– System installation & configuration in accordance to SHS technical and security standard
– System management including developing of scripts to automate operational functionalities and to facilitate proactive monitoring

Provide technical support including production system commissioning and follow up with vulnerabilities identified during audit review.

Oversee Data Centre operations including incident and problem management and facilities management.

Perform vendor management of outsourced infrastructure services to ensure service delivery to performance targets.

Conduct annual disaster recovery planning exercise and follow up with DR procedure updates.

Participate in institution Business Continuity Planning exercise, Emergency Planning exercise and hospital JCI audit.

Implement best IT practices and participate in ITSM ISO 20000 certification.

Project manage small-scale technical projects including evaluation of potential solutions and make recommendations to resolve business problems with appropriate technology and improve operations support.

Provide IT-related administrative support including budget planning, contract renewal, asset and license management.

Requirements:Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Must be a team player with at least 4 years experience in technical support, requirement analysis, technical solutioning and project management
Process oriented
Good command of written and oral English.
Ability to communicate clearly with people at different levels
Experience in Healthcare application will be preferred
